Sally was born and raised on a cattle farm in Fauquier county where her love for animals began at a young age. She grew up helping out on the farm, horseback riding with her grandmother and foxhunting with the Warrenton Hunt.
After getting her undergraduate degree at James Madison University, she decided to pursue her dream of working with animals and started a job as an assistant in a small animal clinic in 2007. She went on to get her license as a veterinary technician in 2009 and has worked in both small animal and mixed animal practices since then.
Sally recently moved back to the area from Northern California and happily joined the small animal team at Piedmont Equine this spring. In her free time she enjoys hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding and practicing yoga.
