Welcome to The Piedmont Equine Practice
Located in The Plains, Virginia, The Piedmont Equine Practice provides medical care for horses in the surrounding counties of Fauquier, Rappahannock, Warren, Prince William, Loudoun, Frederick, Clarke, parts of Fairfax and Culpeper and some adjacent counties in Maryland and West Virginia. This area is known as Virginia Horse Country, and it is the center of foxhunting and three-day eventing in the United States. It is also home to an eclectic mix of show hunters, jumpers, dressage horses, flat and steeplechase race horses, and western performance horses.
