Boarding

Is our facility as cushy and pretty as a bed and breakfast? Nope.
Do we have acres of dog park and multi-dog play time? Nope.

So what do we have?

We have a small, nice, clean dog boarding room. We can only board about 8 dogs (more if family animals share). That means they get very individualized attention.

We have enough cat condos for 4 or 5 cats (we always give them multiple “rooms” in the condo). The kitty condos share space with the doctors’ offices, so they get stimulation and, if they want it, attention all day long (some cats don’t want our love!). They also get a lot of just plain observation, so if something is wrong, we see it quickly.

We can also board exotics: birds, ferrets, rabbits, etc – by arrangement, depending on their enclosures.

What else?

  • A compassionate, skilled staff (all boarders are cared for by veterinary nurses)
  • Pharmaceutical and disease knowledge for patients on medications
  • Ability to update medical needs while boarding (vaccinations, surgery, dental cleanings, laser/acupuncture/pain management, etc)
  • Immediate treatment of illness that may occur while boarding (things like stress/excitement diarrhea)
  • Availability of sedatives for the anxious pet
