Westside Veterinary Hospital was established, at its present location, in 1980 by Dr. Tom Ellenburg. It began with one doctor, one receptionist and one veterinary technician. The practice has since grown to four full-time veterinarians, four receptionists, seven technicians and five animal care attendants. The practice is currently in the process of a major building and remodeling project to more closely align our physical facilities with the most current, state of the art, practice of veterinary medicine found here at Westside Veterinary Hospital.
Our growth over the years is attributed to the loyalty of our clients. The community has responded to our genuine concern for their animals, as well the excellence of care they receive here, by placing their confidence and trust in us for the past thirty seven years. We are truly blessed to be a part of this community in providing the care our clients and patients expect and deserve.
Dr. Ellenburg’s daughter, Dr. Lauren Ellenburg, is now a part of the practice along with Dr.’s Wilks, and Mahan.
