Hi everyone, welcome back to ClientEd with Ask Eddie. In this video we’ll show you how to add Ask Eddie to your practice website. If you’re a WebDBM customer simply email our team and we’ll be happy to take care of it for you. If you have a third party website solution or you just like to see how it’s done let’s get started. First you’ll log into ClientEd and navigate to My Account.

From there click on Chat Script under AI Chat Settings.

Now you can decide whether you’d like to use Ask Eddie as a pop up chat widget or as a full page view. We recommend the pop up chat widget unless you have other widgets for the space. Once you’ve decided simply click the copy script button for the desired experience. Now take this script and paste it to your website.

For the pop up widget you’ll need to paste the script into the head of your desired pages and for the full screen widget you’ll need to create a unique page and then paste the script into the body.

Once you see Ask Eddie on your website you’re almost done. Now we just need to make sure that Ask Eddie is pointing pet owners to your unique ClientEd library. So now please locate the pet health library on your website and copy the page URL.

Bring this back into ClientEd and go to appointmentemergencyinfo and paste that URL into the article library link field.

For third party website users please also select the library as iframe.

Now scroll to the bottom and click save information.

And that’s it! Now pet owners can ask Eddie their questions and you can feel confident knowing the answers are coming from a trusted library of expert written pet health information. Make sure to watch our next video about how Ask Eddie can streamline your appointment process.
