Through the American Veterinary Medical Foundation’s Veterinary Care Charitable Fund, our hospital is able to help animals rescued from abuse and neglect and the pets of clients facing personal hardships. Idaho Disaster Dogs:

Idaho Disaster Dogs was formed in 2005 to provide canine search capabilities to the Idaho Bureau of Homeland Security, Technical Search and Rescue Teams. Handlers and support personnel are a mix of firefighters from the City of Coeur d’Alene Fire Department, Northern Lakes Fire Protection District and civilian members from our community who volunteer their time to provide this service. Idaho Disaster Dogs is a 501(c)3 organization supported by the generosity and donations from our north Idaho, eastern Washington community.  Click on the Idaho Technical Rescue Team logo to make a donation.
