Your puppy’s early months are an impressionable period in his or her life, and the right training can make all the difference in your lifelong relationship with your dog. The goal of our puppy visit is to teach basic manners, encourage good behaviour, prevent problems, and increase socialization, all while helping you establish a strong bond with your new canine companion. We also discuss various veterinary medical topics that you need to be informed about as a new puppy owner. Frequently the field of veterinary pet care changes and our doctors and technicians receive rigorous continuing education hours to keep you informed of the best products, treatments and diagnostics for your pet. Even if you are a seasoned pet owner and have several other dogs currently we are able to introduce new topics and options for your pet’s care that you may not be familiar with. At your new puppy visit you will have some dedicated time with one of our certified veterinary technicians to discuss many topics and go over some of the free products that you will get. You will then have a thorough examination and consultation with one of our doctors. If you adopted you pet from the Tri-County Humane Society please bring in the coupon included in their packet for some extra incentives.
