Dr. Walker Brown is originally from Akron, Iowa. He received a B.S. degree in Animal Science with a minor in chemistry from the South Dakota State University. He received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Iowa State University in 2003. He practiced in the Brainerd lakes area for 6 years before joining Pine Cone Pet Hospital in April of 2009. Dr. Brown enjoys the variety of small animal general practice and has a special interest in both soft-tissue and orthopedic surgery. Dr. Brown was Slocum TPLO Certified in 2008 and accepts area referrals for orthopedic surgery.
Outside the hospital he loves serving with his Church family, being in the outdoors, camping, bird hunting, movies, and geocaching with is family. He is active with the Sartell Chamber of Commerce and former Board Member, serving as President for the 2013 term. He enjoys his free time with his wife Amy and his friends and family. Dr. Brown has five children Ellie, Lauren, Wyatt, Penelope, and Watson
