We would like everyone to welcome our new groomer Christine Canning to the staff here at Morehead Veterinary Clinic!
Chris began her career in an animal shelter where she saw the need to clean and groom the animals to make them more comfortable. She soon realized that her kind acts increased adoptions. Eventually, Chris took an extensive 10-week course in grooming and has obtained continuing education through seminars at groom expos and trade shows. Now, with over 20 years experience as a groomer, Chris is happy to have found her home in Morehead with her husband, David, who in employed by U.S. Forestry. Their pets consist of a three-legged cat, Henry, two trail mules, and a miniature donkey. She has a passion for working with animals and thoroughly enjoys taking care of the furry family members.
