Soft tissue surgery refers to any non-orthopedic surgery. The most commonly performed soft tissue surgeries at Huntsville Animal Hospital are skin surgeries to remove growths and masses, dental surgeries, eye and eyelid surgeries, laceration repair and abdominal surgeries for the removal of gastrointestinal foreign bodies, gastric dilation volvulus, urinary bladder stones and organ mass removal.

Huntsville Animal Hospital is equipped with electrocautery and other advanced equipment to aid in these surgeries. As with all surgeries at our hospital, comprehensive pre-anesthetic blood work is strongly encouraged. All surgeries are monitored with advanced equipment and by highly trained Registered Veterinary Technicians.
