Cancer can unfortunately strike any pet at any time. Fortunately there are many advances in cancer therapy that allow us to help your pet to extend both their quality and longevity of life if diagnosed with cancer. At Huntsville Animal Hospital we can offer many diagnostic procedures including biopsies, ultrasound and radiographs (X-rays) that can, in most cases, be done with no discomfort for your pet. Treatment of cancer may involve one or more of radiation therapy, surgical therapy or chemotherapy. Most chemotherapy can be performed at our hospital under the guidance of a board certified oncologist.

REMEMBER, spaying or neutering your pet, especially when young, can drastically reduce the chance of developing many types of cancer.
