Theresa is a small town girl with a big city pedigree. She was born and raised in the Pickering area where she completed her formal education before entering the workforce in several capacities, then choosing a long term position with a printing company. During this time, she volunteered for Big Sisters, taught reading and math skills to special needs children and trained in karate. She also taught public speaking for many years helping hosts of people to realise their potential.

In 2002 she met her future husband who convinced her to follow her long-held wish to work in animal care. With that encouragement, she applied to and was hired to work for an Animal Hospital in Ajax. Theresa and the clinic were a perfect match and she remained there until early 2010 when she moved with her husband to their retirement home in Kearney, leaving her parents, siblings and friends still in the Pickering area. She is now happily employed at Huntsville Animal Hospital where meeting and interacting with clients and their pets is one of the many things she loves about her work. While at work her husband looks after “The Ranch” and their family consisting of 3 German Shepherds and 3 cats. Small town? Great!
