Siara McCain

RVT

As the Wellness Lead for Harmony Veterinary Center, Siara oversees all special needs for wellness visits, such as those for new clients and international health exams. She also assists with surgery, including dentals, mass removals, anesthesia monitoring, and spays and neuters. “I love educating clients and seeing their pets grow and change,” she says. “There’s never a shortage of animals to meet or to help.”

Siara, who has three years of veterinary experience, finds balance in interacting with her various clients, from simply meeting the healthy ones to helping those that are sick. Having grown up all her life with Chocolate Labs, the most recent being Franklin, she understands the effect that one life can have on another.  “Pets make you realize how fragile and short live is. We have such a small amount of time to make a difference in their lives and they in ours,” she says.

“I do what I do because I know I’m making a small difference in someone’s life, whether it’s mine, the pet’s or a client. You never know the positive impact you can have in someone’s life.”

Siara received her Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) degree from Community College of Denver. She lives with her two dogs — Franklin and a Boston Terrier named Mogley — and one black cat, Penny Lou. In her spare time, she enjoys concerts, sporting events and travel.
