RVT
Maritza grew up in sunny Southern California where she still has close ties to her family. She was a practicing massage therapist for seven years before choosing to move to Colorado and gain her degree as a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) from Bel-Rea University. Maritza is an experienced RVT with a passion for nutrition, both human and animal. She is a registered dietician through Metro State University and is pursuing advanced certification in small animal nutrition. She loves applying her education in dietetics and animal nutrition to helping your “fur-babies” live longer and healthier lives through good nutrition.
Colorado offers Maritza many new adventures with her husband, three Chihuahuas and the newest adopted rescue, Frankie. She loves spending time outdoors, exercising, cooking, and being with her family.
