Meet Willow, one of the flood survivors our team helped get back on her feet. Willow was spotted after the flood starving, injured and in pretty bad shape. She had become stranded on the wild side of the river in Clear Creek Canyon. Thanks to some good Samaritans, and Clear Creek County Animal Control she was rescued.
Willow is 12 years old, was close to starving to death, had multiple painful broken teeth, advanced arthritis, and was diagnosed with an untreatable cancer. She now has a healthy pain free mouth, has pain medication for her arthritis, and best of all a hospice foster home where she will live out her days in comfort.
